David-Muir
David Muir (born August 25, 1949) is an American anchor, journalist and reporter. He is most well-known for World News Tonight. Viewed by millions of viewers, David Muir's show is known for its celebrity gossip video and animated gestures. Made In America has also been nominated for an Emmy award. His predecessor, Diane Sawyer's main replacement anchor until he was appointed anchor at ABC World News Tonight. He has reported numerous evening specials on primetime ABC News some recent ones include Breaking Point: Heroin in America as well as Flashpoint Refugees in America. The reporter has covered stories from all over the world, including Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He's received several Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards along with distinctions and awards from The Associated Press.
