Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an American actress, best recognized for her role as detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medical thriller The Resident. Her breakout role in the role of Eleni andros Cooper on the CBS soap series Guiding Light was also praised. The most memorable film roles she has played comprise 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. It is reported that she is working on a movie adaptation of Elisabeth KublerRoss's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas as well as Charley Parlapanides. They were the team who wrote the movie Immortals. Also, she is filming for an upcoming television series named Gods & Heroes.
